AFMC INSTRUCTION 63-401, SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS REVIEW PROCESS (16 APR 2003)., This instruction implements AFMCPD63-4, Software Requirements Review Process, and applies to mission
critical computer software. The Software Requirements Review Process (SRRP) is used for the documentation
and approval of mission critical computer software maintenance requirements on weapon
systems. The SRRP documentation provides a record of major command (MAJCOM) requests for mission
critical software maintenance, a description of specific maintenance actions required, and documents
the funding resources necessary to complete the maintenance actions. The SRRP is designed to support
and bridge together MAJCOM operational requirements development, program office maintenance
action resource requests, and MAJCOM requests for software maintenance funding. The process requires
the use of the Software Requirements Application (SRA) database for inputting the required information
and generating the AFMC Form 230 (CG), Software Support Requirements Documentation, and
AFMC Form 231 (CG), Software Task Detail Description. The SRA is a database that maintains all of
the information that is used to generate the forms. This document explains the process, required documentation,
responsibilities of participants, and required reviews.

AFMC PAMPHLET 63-5, INTEGRATED MASTER PLAN AND SCHEDULE GUIDE (11 NOV 2004). This pamphlet provides guidance on the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule
(IMS), which together, provide a systematic approach to program planning and scheduling. They also provide
a tool for improved day-to-day program execution and for improved program/project insight by both
Government program/project office personnel and contractor personnel. Previously a number of draft or
final IMP/IMS guides have existed at various DoD acquisition locations. These guides were not always
consistent in content and/or application. Also, a great deal of time and resources has been spent getting
both the Government teams and the offerors/contractors up to speed on how to prepare and use the IMP
and the IMS. A mutual understanding of what is required to successfully plan and execute a program is
critical to the Government-industry team.

AFMC POLICY DIRECTIVE 65-2, FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (5 JUN 1996).,This Directive establishes the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) Cost Analysis Program,
specifies its objectives and functions, and assigns responsibilities for the conduct of the program
within Air Force Material Command. This program is intended to foster the development
of cost analysis concepts, methods, procedures, and databases. The program is intended to provide
reliable and timely cost information to aid decision makers and use in the Planning, Programming
and Budgeting System (PPBS). Special emphasis is placed on:
2.1. Assuring cost estimates are reviewed for sufficiency, are properly documented, and reflect the
most current program direction and Cost Analysis Requirements Description.
2.2. Providing cost analysis support to using commands performing cost studies and in support of
Mission Element Boards (MEB).
