AECTP-100 (ED 3), ENVIRONMENTAL GUIDELINES FOR DEFENCE MATERIEL (JAN 2006) ALLIED ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS AND TEST PUBLICATION. The purpose of this ‘Allied Environmental Conditions and Test Publication’ is to guide project managers, programme engineers, and environmental engineering specialists in the planning and implementation of environmental tasks. An important function of AECTP 100 is to provide guidance to project managers on the application of AECTP 200 ‘Environmental Conditions’, AECTP 300 ‘Climatic Environmental Tests’, AECTP 400 ‘Mechanical Environmental Tests’ and AECTP 500 ‘Electrical/Electromagnetic Environmental Tests.’

AECTP-200 (ED 3), ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS (JAN 2006) ALLIED ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS AND TEST PUBLICATION. AECTP 200 describes environmental conditions and data that have been compiled from established sources within NATO countries. Where possible the potential damaging effects of these conditions on defence materiel are also identified. Advice is given on the selection of suitable test methods. For mechanical conditions, guidance is also given on the determination and validation of environmental test severities from actual measured data.

AECTP-300 (ED 3), CLIMATIC ENVIRONMENTAL TEST (JAN 2006) ALLIED ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS AND TEST PUBLICATION. AECTP 300 test methods address climatic elements which may occur either individually or in combination with other climatic elements or mechanical environments. While the application of combined environments is realistic, is encouraged, and is often preferred to produce synergistic effects, analysis of results is often difficult with regard to assigning failure to a particular element.

AECTP-400 (ED 3), MECHANICAL ENVIRONMENTAL TESTS (JAN 2006) ALLIED ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS AND TEST PUBLICATION. The purpose of this test method is to replicate the effects of the vibration environments incurred by systems, subsystems and units, hereafter called materiel, during the specified operational conditions.

AECTP-500 (ED 2), ELECTRICAL/ELECTROMAGNETIC ENVIRONMENTAL TESTS (JAN 2006) ALLIED ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS AND TEST PUBLICATION. This document is to cover general and specific requirements relating to equipment and subsystems, guidance and requirements for development of a test program for all material characterized as electronic, electrical, and electromechanical, to be tested at a the equipment level.

AECTP-600 (ED 2), THE TEN STEP METHOD FOR EVALUATING THE ABILITY OF MATERIEL TO MEET EXTENDED LIFE REQUIREMENTS AND ROLE AND DEPLOYMENT CHANGES (APR 2007), ALLIED ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS AND TEST PUBLICATION. The purpose of this AECTP is to describe the process known as the Ten Step Method that has been developed to determine the ability of materiel to meet extended life requirements and role and deployment changes. The process is presented in this AECTP, which is a framework document. The purpose of the document is to acquaint project (programme) managers with the engineering principles involved when evaluating the implications of extended life requirements, and with the outline of a management tool that systematically addresses the issues to be resolved
