NASA/CR-194428, NASA CONTRACTOR REPORT: A USERS MANUAL FOR DEVELOPING COST ESTIMATING RELATIONSHIPS - VOL. 1 (AUG 1996)., This Cost Estimating Relationship(CER) development project was initiated by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's(NASA)Lewis Research Center (LeRC)in Cleveland, Ohio. NASA sponsored the project to support on-going cost analysis activities at LeRC. The primary study focus areas are to collect pertinent cost estimating research data and to assist in the development of cost estimating relationships. Hopefully, useful planning estimate level CER's will be developed by NASA and Boeing analysts from this project data for future air-breathing aircraft propulsion systems and microgravity space systems.
