The purpose of this document and the detail specification (paragraph 3.1) is to specify additional screening inspections (e.g., pre-cap visual, micro-particle inspection, run-in testing, vibration, PIND, 100% Group A inspections) which are not required by the MIL-PRF-24236 specification.
