SSP 30223J, PROBLEM REPORTING AND CORRECTIVE ACTION FOR THE SPACE STATION PROGRAM. Design, manufacturing, and operational discrepancies discovered in International Space Station (ISS) hardware are resolved through use of an organized system of problem reporting, analysis, resolution, and trending. This document establishes requirements and responsibilities for establishing and operating the Space Station Problem Reporting and Corrective Action (PRACA) system as required by SSP 41173, Space Station Quality Assurance Requirements. The implementation of these requirements provide for effective recurrence control, provides experience data retention, and minimizes the technical and schedule impact of problems. The objective of the ISS PRACA system is to utilize existing National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Contractor, Payload Developer, and International Partner/ Participant (IP/P) engineering and management infrastructure for problem resolution and disposition. The requirements of this document shall apply to the NASA International Space Station Program Office (ISSPO), the ISS Prime Contractor, and NASA/ Prime organizations responsible for providing equipment or processing to be used as a part of the ISS system. These requirements cover the reporting, processing and resolution of all problems on equipment for which the ISSPO, including the ISS Payloads Office, and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) offices have responsibility. The IP/Ps shall maintain a Problem Reporting system as defined in the NASA/ International Partners/ Participants Bilateral Agreements. The contents of this document are intended to be consistent with the tasks and products to be prepared by Program participants. The Problem Reporting and Corrective Action Requirements for the International Space Station Program shall be implemented on all new ISS contractual and internal activities and shall be included in existing contracts through contract changes. This document is under the control of the International Space Station Safety and Mission Assurance (S&MA) Panel, and changes or revisions to this document will be approved by the NASA and Prime S&MA Managers (or delegated representatives).

SSP 30233F, SPACE STATION REQUIREMENTS FOR MATERIALS AND PROCESSES. Space Station Requirements for Materials and Processes defines the minimum requirements for Materials and Processes (M&P) and provides a general control specification for incorporation in the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) space station hardware procurements and technical programs. Space Station Requirements for Materials and Processes document contains an introduction, a list of applicable documents, subsections on general and detailed requirements along with appendices containing acronyms, definitions and Category III Material Usage Agreement codes. The contents of this document are intended to be consistent with the tasks and products to be prepared by Space Station participants as defined in the Space Station System Specifications and applicable segment specifications where this document is required. SSP 30237F, SPACE STATION ELECTROMAGNETIC EMISSION AND SUSCEPTIBILITY REQUIREMENTS. The Space Station Electromagnetic Emission and Susceptibility Requirements for Electromagnetic Compatibility document establishes the requirements for the control of the electromagnetic emission and susceptibility characteristics of electronic, electrical and electromechanical equipment and subsystems designed or procured for use by the International Space Station Alpha Program. The contents of this document are intended to be consistent with the requirements of SSP 30243, Space Station Requirements for Electromagnetic Effects and SSP 41000, System Specification for the Space Station. The Space Station Electromagnetic Emission and Susceptibility Requirements for Electromagnetic Compatibility shall be implemented on all SSP contracts and internal activities. This document contains an introduction and paragraphs describing test requirements, test procedures, and documentation. The contents of this document are intended to be consistent with the requirements of SSP 30243 and SSP 30237. This document defines the ionizing radiation environment which is specified as an environmental design and operations requirement for the International Space Station Alpha (ISSA) and is recommended for use as the design environment for other on–orbit segments. This document provides definition for the external ionizing radiation environment as well as the internal induced ionizing radiation environment applicable to internal equipment and end items. These environments may also be applied as design requirements for internal and external payloads and to assess crew exposure.

SSP 50235, INTERFACE DEFINITION DOCUMENT (IDD) FOR INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION (ISS) VISITING VEHICLES (VVS) (10 FEB 2000)., This document is applicable to the newly designed space vehicles that will interact with the ISS. This document is not applicable to Shuttle, Soyuz, Progress, and their modifications. This document is also not applicable to the ISS modules. 􏰀 This document defines performance and interface requirements that are not part of the System Specification for the International Space Station, SSP 41000, and are specific to Visiting Vehicles. The requirements in this document are subordinate to the Concept of Operations and Utilization (COU) Principles, SSP 50011, VOL. 1. The responsibility for developing space transportation systems and for making them technically and operationally compatible with the Space Station rests on the provider of the space transportation system. While attached to the ISS, or situated in a proximity of the station and requires ISS support, a VV is considered to be part of the on-orbit Space Station and shall be compatible with the requirements of the System Specification for the International Space Station, SSP 41000 and/or associated Segment Specifications. Functional decomposition and allocation of the requirements to the specific VV will be performed and approved by the ISS Program in the development of the VV specification.

SSP 50313, DISPLAY AND GRAPHICS COMMONALITY STANDARD, INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION PROGRAM. This document shall apply to all onboard displays being produced for ISS operations or produced by other organizations in support of ISS operations. If there is a conflict with other ISS program-level documentation, SSP 50313 shall take priority for standards or guidelines which pertain to onboard displays directly used by the flight crew, the flight control team, or the training personnel supporting the ISS Program. In addition, reference drawings and graphics reference materials, which are used for crew, including products developed by partners, shall be developed in compliance with the standards and guidelines contained in this document. All configuration control boards managed by ISS Operations are required to implement these guidelines in the execution of their configuration management responsibilities of these materials. Products currently developed are exempt from compliance to these standards. However, all new products and major revisions to the user interface shall adhere to these standards. Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software products are also exempt.

The Payload Flight Equipment Requirements and Guidelines for Safety Critical Structures provides the composite structural, dynamic, and fracture control requirements for the design, analysis, fabrication, test and verificaiton of payload flight hardware safety critical structures. The activities required to certify payloads for flight are defined. Payload Developers are to verfiy structural design compliance in accordance with this document as per NSTS 1700.7 ISS Addendum. This document is invoked on payloads to be flown in ISS Pressurized Modules and U.S. Truss Locations and all the attached Payloads connected with the international partners. This document is controlled by the ISS Multilateral Payload Control Board.

This Interface Control Document (ICD) Template is the exclusive document used by National Aeronautics & Space Administration (NASA), the European Space Agency (ESA), National Space Development Agency of Japan (NASDA), and the NASA payload developer to identify and establish the pressurized payload physical / functional interfaces and to control the designs of these pressurized payload interfaces. This document contains the design implementation of the interface requirements in the Pressurized Payloads Interface Requirements Document (IRD), SSP 57000. Both sides of the interface are described and includes mechanical, structural, electrical, avionics, and functional interfaces. The Space Station Pressurized Payloads ICD Template contains an introduction, a list of applicable documents, subsections on general and detailed interfaces, along with appendices containing acronyms, and definitions. This document defines and controls required interfaces for compatibility with the International Space Station (ISS). This document is to be used as a template for the development of unique Pressurized Payload ICDs for NASA payloads which are to interface with the MPLM, US Laboratory, Attached Pressurized Module, Japanese Experiment Module, and the Centrifuge Accommodations Module. The applicability of these interfaces will depend upon the characteristics of the integrated rack payloads as specified in the individual Payload Integration Agreement (PIA). The interfaces outlined in this document are mandatory and may not be violated unless specifically agreed upon by the Multilateral Payloads Control Board (MPCB).
