Future acquisitions for this item should refer to Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Aerospace Standard (AS) AS5169, "Fitting, Port Plug and Bleeder." Table 1 provides a detailed cross-reference of cancelled MS24391 Part or Identifying Numbers (PINs) and replacement AS5169 PINs. The use of "AS" parts is preferable, but "MS" parts may be used for a period of three years from the date of this notice to deplete existing stock. Users are cautioned to evaluate replacements for their particular application.
