MIL-STD-2361C (NOTICE 1), DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE INTERFACE STANDARD: DIGITAL PUBLICATIONS DEVELOPMENT (09 JUL 2010)., MIL-STD-2361C, dated 15 Oct 2004, establishes the Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML) and the Extensible Markup Language (XML) requirements for use by the Army and Marine Corps in their digital publications. The other DoD services and agencies are invited to use this standard with the purpose of providing a standardized set of SGML/XML publishing constructs for total DoD use.
