MIL-STD-1691-2011, MILITARY STANDARD: CONSTRUCTION AND MATERIAL SCHEDULE FOR MILITARY MEDICAL AND DENTAL FACILITIES (21 APR 2011)., This standard establishes a definite demarcation between the various elements involved in the planning, funding, construction, and funding of the medical and dental facilities of the Armed Services, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the United States Public Health Service (USPHS) and other using agencies. This standard shall be applied to the architectural, financial and logistic planning, construction and equipping of all medical and dental facilities included in the military and other using agency budgets for medical construction funds, other appropriation funds, other procurement (investment equipment) organizational maintenance funds and departmental operation funds of the using service or agency.
