MIL-STD-140B, MILITARY STANDARD: PROCEDURE FOR DETERMINING NORMAL LOSS EXPECTANCIES FOR PETROLEUM LIQUIDS (1 DEC 1978) [S/S BY API-BULL-2516, API-BULL-2517, API-BULL-2518 AND SPI-BULL-2519]., The purpose of this standard is to provide a uniform procedure for determining, with reasonable accuracy, the normal loss expectancy of petroleum liquids, including crude oil, from bulk storage tanks and from transportation operations.
