The preparing activity for this document has determined that ANSI/SAE Z26.1, “American National Standard for Safety Glazing Materials for Glazing Motor Vehicles and Motor Vehicle Equipment Operating on Land Highways - Safety Standard” may be a suitable replacement for the glass, laminated, flat (except aircraft). Users are cautioned to evaluate this document for their particular application before citing it as a replacement document.
