MIL-PRF-63045B (NOTICE 2), PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION: MANUALS, TECHNICAL: PREPARATION OF DEPOT MANUALS FOR DEPOT TEST, MEASUREMENT AND DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT (21 JUL 2010) [S/S BY MIL-STD-40051-1A & MIL-STD-40051-2A]., MIL-PRF-63045B(TM) dated 17 Jul7 1997, Amendment 1 dated 15 November 2001, and any subsequent revisions or change notices are inactive for new design and shall be no longer used to acquire technical manuals for new systems. New systems should use MIL-STD-40051-1A "DOD Standard Practice, Preparation of Technical Information for Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs)" and MILSTD- 40051-2A entitled "DOD Standard Practice, Preparation of Technical Information for Page-Based Technical Manuals", to acquire technical manuals.
