MIL-HDBK-2124, MILITARY HANDBOOK: FLIGHT DATA RECORDER FUNCTIONAL STANDARDS FOR (10 OCT 2000) [SUPERSEDES MIL-STD-2124]., This standard establishes the functional characteristics of a DOD airborne Flight Data Recorder (FDR) used for flight incident, mishap, or crash analysis, and the parameters required to be recorded.
