DI-MISC-80043B, DATA ITEM DESCRIPTION: AMMUNITION DATA CARD (23 JUN 2009)., The  Ammunition  Data  Card  is  a  record  that   documents  essential  historical  information  pertaining  to  the   build  of  a  production  component  lot  or  an  end  item  lot  of   ammunition,  explosive  material  or  a  serially  numbered  guided   missile  which  contains  all  required  data  pertaining  to  each  lot   of  the  item.    The  Ammunition  Data  Card  is  used  to  provide   traceability  of  explosive  and  non  explosive  end  items,   assemblies,  sub-­assemblies  and  component  parts  as  mandated  by   contract  requirements.  The  data  contained  in  this  DID  is  required  by  MIL-­STD-­1168. This  DID  supersedes  DI-­MISC-­80043A  which  is  no  longer   applicable.
