SCOPE 1.1 Scope. This commercial item description covers the requirements for a synthetic fleece shirt used as an insulation component of the Extended Cold Weather Clothing System (ECWCS). The shirt is a modified commercial item since it requires a specific military appearance (See paragraph 3.2).
