ADS-1B-PRF, AERONAUTICAL DESIGN STANDARD: ROTORCRAFT PROPULSION SYSTEM AIRWORTHINESS QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS GROUND AND FLIGHT TEST SURVEYS AND DEMONSTRATIONS (24 APR 1996)., The Propulsion systems shall meet their allocated performance and operate in such a manner that the aircraft shall be able to be function safely throughout the operational envelope and meet the performance requirements as defined in the applicable weapon system specification. The following qualification requirements for the propulsion systems are required to verify compliance with the performance requirements of paragraph 1.1 above as applicable to the aircraft design configuration.
