AN774 (REV. 7), AIR FORCE/NAVY AERONAUTICAL STANDARD: BOLT-FLARED TUBE FITTING END UNIVERSAL (28-SEP-1999)., AN774 REV 7, dated 4 August 1983, is hereby cancelled. Future acquisitions for this item should refer to Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Aerospace Standard (AS) AS5160, "Fitting, Bolt, Flared." Table 1 provides a detailed cross-reference of cancelled AN774 Part or Identifying Numbers (PINs) and replacement AS5160 PINs. The use of "AS" parts is preferable, but "AN" parts may be used for a period of three years from the date of this notice to deplete existing stock. Users are cautioned to evaluate replacements for their particular application.
